Mission Geo

Privacy policy

Last updated: 14 May 2026

This page describes what Mission Geo collects (or doesn't collect) when you play.

Data collected if you accept

Gameplay events: modes played, scores, game duration, achievements unlocked. Not the content of your answers, no location, no access to contacts, microphone or camera.

Identifier used

An anonymous identifier is generated by Firebase the first time you launch the app. It is not tied to any real identity and disappears if you uninstall the app.

Hosting

Google (Firebase), with servers in the European Union and the United States. Firebase is GDPR-compliant via Google's Data Processing Addendum.

Retention

Gameplay events are kept for 14 months. Crash reports are kept for 90 days.

Your rights

You can withdraw consent at any time in Profile → Data and privacy. To permanently delete your account and all your data (profile, achievements, online scores), go to Profile → Danger zone → Delete my account. You can also just uninstall the app: the anonymous identifier disappears with it.

Crash reports

If the app crashes, we receive the technical trace (where it crashed), the app version and your phone model. No personal data.

Voluntary bug reports

When you use the "Report a problem" button on an Adventure question, we store only: your anonymous identifier, the country and question type concerned, the error category you picked, the app version and your phone model. No free text, no screenshot. These reports are only consulted by the team to fix the game's content data.

Voluntary feedback

When you send feedback from the Support & Feedback section of your profile, we store: your anonymous identifier, the text you write, the app version and your phone model. Feel free to write whatever you want, but avoid including personal information: we don't need your name, address or email to process feedback (submission is anonymous and we can't reply to you).

Online multiplayer and leaderboards

If you use the online modes or leaderboards, your nickname and scores are visible to other players.

Advertising

AndroidMission Geo shows two kinds of ads through Google AdMob. First, rewarded videos: you freely choose to watch one to earn miles, tickets or hints, or to unlock a difficulty level. Second, interstitials, shown occasionally at the end of a game in Adventure, Challenges and ranked matches. No ads are shown at all if you own the “Remove ads” purchase or a Pro or VIP subscription. AdMob uses an anonymous Advertising ID (AAID) provided by Android and may share it with Google and its partners to personalise ads. On first launch (European Economic Area / United Kingdom), a consent screen (UMP) asks whether you accept personalised ads: you can refuse and still see non-personalised ads. You can reset or opt out of your advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Google → Ads.

Second, interstitials, shown occasionally at the end of a game in Adventure, Challenges and ranked matches. No ads are shown at all if you own the “Remove ads” purchase or a Pro or VIP subscription. To personalise those ads and measure how they perform, AdMob may use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) and share it with Google and its partners. iOS asks for your explicit permission first through the “Allow tracking” prompt: if you decline, no IDFA is read and you keep seeing non-personalised ads. On first launch (European Economic Area / United Kingdom), a consent screen (UMP) completes that choice. You can change your permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
